The ropeway company
Funivie Tofana e Marmolada SpA, founded as a stock company in 1965, operates the ropeways and the area of the Tofana - Freccia nel Cielo and the ropeways on the Marmolada.

Cortina d’Ampezzo
Geographically it is included in the Belluno province and it is 72 km from the town of Belluno. It is located between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige regions and is located at 1224m. a.s.l.

The village has nearly 7,000 inhabitants and is surrounded by forests and wide ski slopes, below towering craggy red rock mountains. Some of these peaks are higher than 3000m: Tofana 3243m, Cristallo 3218m, Sorapìs 3205m.

Cortina d'Ampezzo is the most charming ski resort in Italy. The olympic village has a thousand-year old remarkable historical background and it attracts visitors from all over the world for its lively international atmosphere, its fashionable shops, and excellent restaurants.

In winter as well in summer Cortina offers something for everyone and especially for all keen skiers!
A number of worldwide famous movies have been shot in Cortina.
Among them:

Cortina d'Ampezzo is one of the twelve resorts belonging to the european association "Best of the Alps", which get together the most exclusive and well known destinations in europe's five alpine countries.

In the Olympic Games of 1956 legendary Toni Sailer conquers the gold medal in the giant slalom on the "A"-slope of which started directly in front of the cottage Col Drusciè.

The cottage is and became famous 1930 as it became the meeting place of the VIPs in Cortina.

All huts have sunny, panoramic terraces and offer magnificant views over the valley and the dolomites.

The longest slope of Cortina with 1.604m of skiable height difference.
