Il Sentiero Montanelli: una passeggiata tra natura

Il Sentiero Montanelli: una passeggiata tra natura e ispirazione 🌲
Indro Montanelli, celebre scrittore e giornalista, trovava rifugio e serenità tra le meraviglie di Cortina, un luogo che amava profondamente. Per chi desidera seguire i suoi passi, c’è un percorso facile e panoramico che collega il Col Druscié a Fiames: il sentiero Montanelli (n. 410).

Lungo questo tracciato, Montanelli si concedeva lunghe passeggiate per rilassarsi, tra il verde dei boschi e la pace della natura. Oggi, si possono trovare diverse panchine e punti panoramici dove fermarsi, ammirare la valle ampezzana e trovare l'ispirazione che anche lui cercava.

Arrivati alle Crepe de Cianderou (m. 1753), vi troverete di fronte alla panchina più alta, quella che Montanelli preferiva per la vista spettacolare su Cortina e le Dolomiti. Un luogo perfetto per fermarsi, godersi il panorama e scattare una foto indimenticabile. 📸✨

The Montanelli Trail: a walk between nature and inspiration 🌲
Indro Montanelli, the famous writer and journalist, found refuge and serenity among the wonders of Cortina, a place he loved deeply. For those who wish to follow in his footsteps, there is an easy and scenic route linking Col Druscié to Fiames: the Montanelli trail (no. 410).

Along this trail, Montanelli would take long walks to relax, amidst the green woods and the peace of nature. Today, you can find several benches and viewpoints where you can stop, admire the Ampezzo valley and find the inspiration that he also sought.

Arriving at Crepe de Cianderou (m. 1753), you will find yourself in front of the highest bench, the one that Montanelli preferred for its spectacular view of Cortina and the Dolomites. A perfect place to stop, enjoy the view and take an unforgettable photo. 📸✨

È un simbolo di speranza, di sfida e di unione tra l'uomo e la natura. Ogni vetta ha la sua croce, e ogni croce racconta una storia di chi ha osato sognare in grande 🏔️🧡

Tutto ha preso vita nel 1967, con la costruzione della funivia Col Drusciè - Ra Valles. 🚠
Poi, il 23 marzo 1968, furono inaugurati la funivia Col Drusciè – Ra Valles, la seggiovia Pian Ra Valles, la sciovia Cacciatori e, a coronare il tutto, l'apertura del Ristorante Capanna Ra Valles. Un’avventura che dura ancora oggi! ❄️

It all began in 1967, with the construction of the Col Drusciè - Ra Valles cable car. 🚠
Then, on 23 March 1968, the Col Drusciè - Ra Valles cable car, the Pian Ra Valles chairlift, the Cacciatori ski lift and, to crown it all, the opening of the Capanna Ra Valles restaurant were inaugurated. An adventure that still lasts today! ❄️

Grazie ai moderni telescopi – un Ritchey-Chretien da 40 cm e uno Schmidt Cassegrain da 28 cm – è possibile osservare pianeti, galassie lontane e persino cacciare supernove 🌌 in un ambiente unico e libero dall'inquinamento luminoso, dove ogni notte diventa un'avventura tra le meraviglie dell'universo 🌠

On the occasion of World Space Week, we want to take you among the stars, right here in the heart of the Dolomites ✨ At Col Druscié is the Helmut Ullrich Astronomical Observatory, a magical place where the sky seems to be within reach.

Thanks to modern telescopes - a 40-cm Ritchey-Chretien and a 28-cm Schmidt Cassegrain - it is possible to observe planets, distant galaxies and even hunt supernovas 🌌 in a unique, light-pollution-free environment, where every night becomes an adventure among the wonders of the universe 🌠

🧗‍♂️ Via Ferrata alla Punta Anna: attraversa l’iconico Bus di Tofana!

Partendo dal Rifugio Pomedes la Via Ferrata Olivieri-Punta Anna vi condurrà fino alla cima Punta Anna a 2.731 m, da cui si gode di una vista spettacolare sulla valle di Cortina e le vette che le fanno da cornice.

💡 Lungo il percorso, attraverserete il celebre Bus Tofana, un incredibile foro naturale nella roccia, creato dall'erosione del vento.

🧗‍♂️ Via Ferrata to Punta Anna: cross the iconic Tofana Bus!

Starting from the Pomedes Refuge, the Via Ferrata Olivieri-Punta Anna will take you up to the Punta Anna peak at 2,731 m, from where there is a spectacular view over the Cortina valley and the peaks that frame it.

💡 Along the way, you will cross the famous Bus Tofana, an incredible natural hole in the rock, created by wind erosion.
