CORTINA D’AMPEZZO: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5TH, THE LIFTS AT TOFANA-FRECCIA NEL CIELO WILL OPEN

Cortina d’Ampezzo has increased its skiing offers for the Long Weekend of the Immacolata holiday. In fact, the Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo funicular lift, the Pian Ra Valles chairlift with the blue Pian Ra Valles slope and connections with Pie Tofana are all scheduled to open on Saturday, December 5th.

“The situation is continuing to evolve and as soon as the temperatures go back down we will put our 35 snow cannons to use in order to reach our goal of opening all the slopes in the resort for the Christmas holidays”  was the statement by società Tofana Srl.This year skiers can expect lots of new attractions.

One of the most significant is the automated parking lot where there is a reserved area with 10 spaces in the immediate vicinity of the lift, for those skiers who don’t want to waste any time and who want to be the first ones on the slopes while everyone else is still looking for parking.  For more information: tel. +39 0436 5052.

The winter season is also kicking off at the Col Drusciè Restaurant (1778 m), Capanna Ra Valles (2475 m) with the highest Pizzeria in Europe, and the Après Ski Bar Freccia located at the bottom of the funicular lift.
