“Bus Tofana – Ra Valles 2021” inauguration

Inauguration of the new 4-SEATER CHAIRLIFT Bus Tofana – Pian Ra Valles. The event will also include a special moment to homage the inventor of the “Freccia nel cielo” lift, Giulio Apollonio, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary since the lift’s official inauguration in 1971.

Head to Pian Ra Valles on the Freccia nel Cielo lift from 9 am onwards on Sunday, 19 December 2021, for the inauguration of the new 4-seater Bus Tofana chairlift. The day also marks a special moment in the lift’s history. A commemorative plaque in honour of Giulio Apollonio, the man behind the Freccia nel Cielo, will be unveiled by his granddaughter Giulia Apollonio. The event is open to everyone and includes ceremonial moments and a closing aperitif at the end of the event.
