“Observatory Wednesday” at the Tofana di Mezzo

A family event with the Tofana Freccia nel Cielo and the Cortina Astronomical Association.

Every Wednesday from 13 July until 31 August, the Tofana Freccia nel Cielo offers special guided family tours of the astronomical observatory on Col Druscié (open from 10:30 am to 1 pm). The easy walk of around one hour leads visitors along the Path of the Planets and the Universe, followed by lunch at the Ristorante Col Drusciè and, to round off, a cable car ride to the summit of the Cima Tofana, the highest point of the Ampezzo Dolomites. A wonderful opportunity to embark on a journey of astronomical discovery, with explanations tailored to the age of participants and recreational activities for the whole family to enjoy in a unique, one-of-a-kind landscape.

PACKAGE NO. 1

Day on Col Druscié

The event costs € 53.00 euro per adult and € 43.00 per child (7 – 14 years old), and includes the cable car to Col Drusciè, the guided tour of the observatory, the walk along the Path of the Planets and the Universe and a cocktail at Col Druscié.

Cable car travel is free of charge for children up to 6 years old; as such, the cost covers the experience activities alone, and is €. 24,00.

PACKAGE NO. 2

A day on Col Drusciè and Cima Tofana

The event costs € 68.00 euro per adult and € 49.00 per child (7 – 14 years old), and includes the cable car to Col Drusciè, the guided tour of the observatory, the walk along the Path of the Planets and the Universe and a cocktail at Col Druscié and the cable-car ride to the Cima Tofana.

Cable car travel is free of charge for children up to 6 years old; as such, the cost covers the experience activities alone, and is € 30.00.
