About us

Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo manages the cableway complex and the ski and naturalistic area of Col Drusciè, Ra Valles and Cima Tofana, Dolomiti UNESCO World Heritage since June 26, 2009 and part of the Cortina d’Ampezzo National Park.

Already in 1971, the Freccia nel Cielo with its three sections represented one of the most important cable cars in Italy. In 2019, the first section was modernized with a new, modern gondola; in 2021, a four-seater winter chairlift was also opened, comfortably connecting Pian Ra Valles with Bus de Tofana with one lift. The Freccia nel Cielo gondola starts directly from Cortina d’Ampezzo town center, where it has a large parking lot next to the well-known Ice Stadium. With the gondola and two cable cars accessible for everyone, it allows you to reach the third highest peak in the Dolomites: Tofana di Mezzo, at 3244 m. During this panoramic journey to the “sky,” there are two midway stops: Col Druscié at 1778 m and Ra Valles at 2470 m, where you can stop as long as you want while fully enjoying the mountain and then take the lift again to continue your journey.
