Posted On:-February 12th, 2016
It’s not every day that you can eat a tasty gourmet pizza at 2470 metres, surrounded by the splendour of the Dolomites lit up by the moon and stars. Therefore, be sure not to miss this initiative at the Capanna Ra Valles. On Saturday, February 13th, 2016, the highest Pizzeria in Europe, which is only accessible via funicular from Cortina d’Ampezzo, will open its doors for a very special evening.
This is really a “first” for Capanna Ra Valles, and what better occasion than the weekend dedicated to love and all people in love who want to experience an exclusive, surely unforgettable evening in the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Dolomites.
The pizzas at Capanna Ra Valles are prepared with selected flours and top quality ingredients full of rich, diversified flavours, once soft but also full and delicious: the temptation is hard to resist! Headliners include the Bus Tofana pizza (with anchovies from Sciacca, Selargino capers and taggiasche olives), the Classica Drusciè pizza (soft sundried tomatoes, aubergines, parmesan flakes and basil pesto) and the Freccia pizza (speck, gorgonzola, walnuts and cherry tomatoes).
Is your mouth watering yet? Good, we’re not done. The evening also includes a fantastic cocktail on the most beautiful scenic terrace in Cortina d’Ampezzo and musical entertainment with a DJ Set and live music.
