Ferrata Tofana di Mezzo
One of the most demanding, but also most spectacular, via ferratas in the Dolomites. Different starting points, but just one arrival: the highest peak of the Ampezzo Valley. This via ferrata mostly develops on the ridge of the mountain, and it offers a breath-taking view all along the itinerary, if you are going to Cortina as well as in the opposite direction, to the 5 Torri.
The suggested starting point is Capanna Ra Valles, following the path along the Cacciatori chairlift, and arriving at Cima Tofana, to then descend downhill by cable car.
Climb time: 3:30 hours then descend by cable car

Ferrata Tofana di Dentro
Suitable even for families, this via ferrata can be faced also descending from Cima della Tofana di Mezzo to Ra Valles. The itinerary is very impressive, because it allows you to climb up 2 Tofana’s peaks in a small time. All along this via ferrata, you will meet testimonies of the Great War, which was fought on these peaks, and you could even enter some of the galleries, which were dug into the rock by soldiers.
Climb time: 5:00 hours, then descend with the cable car
Descent time: Come up with the lifts,then it’s a 4:00 hour descent to Ra Valles

Olivieri Path
This easy via ferrata allows you to comfortably walk from Pomedes to Ra Valles, and thanks to its position, it offers to the climbers some unique panoramic glimpses.
You can climb it in both directions!

Descent time: 2:00 hours then catch the chairlift down from Pomedes

Ferrata Punta Anna – Tofana di Mezzo
Set off from Rifugio Pomedes where the Ferrata Olivieri-Punta Anna begins immediately. Arrive at Cima Tofana where the funicular descends. Along the trail you will cross trough the famous Bus Tofana (Tofana Hole). It is a natural hole created by the force of wind.
Climb time: 6:00 hours then descend with the cable car
Descent time: it is advisable to use the cable car
