At Col Druscié 1778 m in the heart of the Dolomiti Unesco World Heritag, the Helmut Ullrich Observatory houses a modern 40-cm Ritchey-Chretien telescope and a 28-cm Schmidt Cassegrain telescope, used for visual observation of the deep sky, planets, Moon and Sun, and galaxy imaging for supernova search, thanks to the very low light pollution of the privileged location.
